Joining the FIRE Program - By Invitation with UMD Letter of Admission

If you were invited to the FIRE program with your UMD letter of admission you should follow the steps outlined here to secure your spot. You do not need to fill out the application below, you have already been invited to the program.

Joining the FIRE Program - By Application

If you have just learned about the FIRE program, will be a new UMD student in the Fall of 2024 (freshman or transfer), and would like to apply to join - please fill out the application below. We will be back in touch shortly after UMD's enrollment confirmation date (now June 1, 2024).
